Sadistic Duo Brutally Killed Several Innocent Animals At Pet Store

Published: July 28, 2023 at 03:10 PM Author: PENNY EIMS

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – On July 13, two people entered a Petland store in the 13000 block of N. Pennsylvania Avenue in Oklahoma City and brutally killed several innocent animals. Employees at the store found a dead parakeet and a dead bunny in their cages; staff discovered a hamster who had been taken to the parking lot and stomped to death. A guinea pig from the store is still missing.

According to the police, the bunny was strangled and the parakeet died from a broken neck.

The affidavit states:

After interacting with the puppy, [the manager] stated the male went to the area where the bunnies and Parakeets are located. The video [the manager] showed me revealed the white male reaching into the bunny enclosure and appearing to hold the bunny down. The male looks around and lets go of the bunny, Another video showed the male reaching into the Parakeet enclosure and moving away.”

Surveillance video revealed the female acting as a lookout while the young male brutally killed the animals.

The savage killings were not discovered until after the duo left the Petland store, but tips from the public enabled the authorities to identify the Pet store killers.

Though the suspects have been “tentatively identified,” there have been no arrests and the names have not been released because charges have not been filed yet.

Animal Victory wants YOUR signature on the petition to let the authorities, and court officials know that this sickening crime MUST be taken seriously. What happened to these innocent animals is appalling, and this duo must be punished.

From the U.S. Department of Justice,

“Intentional Animal Torture and Cruelty is the gateway to acts of extreme, remorseless violence, and must be as vigorously addressed as any other crime.”

We the undersigned demand that the individuals responsible for savagely killing innocent Petland Pet Store animals be held accountable for their appalling actions. We are petitioning for these people to face the maximum punishment allowable by law for the charges stemming from this sadistic behavior.

Individuals are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. Animal Victory relies upon the authorities and the court system to determine guilt or innocence.

Update March 6, 2024: An Oklahoma County judge rejected a plea agreement the state made with Christopher Jameson. It was a first for the judge, who insisted that Jameson needs a mental evaluation at the least before he is released. The judge ordered that the case return to court after the evaluation happens. The next hearing is scheduled for April.

Update 9/10/2023: Animal Victory learned Jameson’s sentencing was postponed until March 6, 2024. He must complete an in-custody Regimented Inmate Discipline (RID) program and then inpatient mental health treatment, as per the news outlet (Daily Mail). The sentencing will be deferred for another seven years if he successfully completes the program.

Update 8/1/2023: An arrest has been made! Police have arrested and charged 19-year-old Christopher Jameson. He was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a complaint of cruelty to animals.
